Course Content

The course unit "Internationalisation & Society" allows students to obtain ECTS credits for participating in international activities that are not acknowledged as credits in other study curriculum course units. These activities can include international internships, participation in summer schools, international conferences, specialised training courses, or elective training modules within international learning communities such as the EUTOPIA network.

Through such activities, students can strengthen their international and intercultural competencies as well as their communication skills in their native or foreign languages.

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Other Exam determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the Other Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Paper/presentatie with a relative weight of 100 which comprises 100% of the final mark.

This course unit is assessed on a pass/fail basis based on the achievement of the activity or activities as reported and substantiated in the portfolio. Students need to obtain a pass grade for all relevant activities in order to pass the course as a whole.
The same evaluation criteria and conditions apply in the second examination period. In the second examination period, the student will have to complete or redo all activities for which they did not obtain a pass grade in the first session.
