Aanvullende info mbt evaluatie

Students receive a group assignment in the beginning of the course and present their group work via an oral presentation during the last class(es). In addition, a final report is delivered by a predefined date before the official exam period. Individual evaluation is based on assessment by lecture and peers.

Calculation of the examination mark
Average of group presentation (20%), final report (50%) and individual performance (30%). Each part must be have a score higher than 8/20, otherwise the lowest mark will prevail.

Use of AI Tools:
Students are permitted to use AI tools to a limited extent within the framework of their science communication campaign. Any use of AI must be explicitly acknowledged in the project deliverables. AI is not permitted for writing the final report. Students must demonstrate independent critical thinking; AI should serve only as a support tool, not as a replacement for original analysis, creativity, or reflection.
During the oral presentation, students' understanding and critical engagement with their project will be assessed. If AI was used excessively or without genuine comprehension, this will be reflected in the evaluation.
