The master’s thesis is the final component of the Master in Specialist Medicine. It allows the medical specialist in training to critically reflect on a specific research question within their field, using a solid clinical and scientific framework.
Master’s Thesis Part 2 comprises the execution and comprehensive elaboration of the research project. The medical specialist in training conducts the study and subsequently develops the outcomes into a fully realised and academically rigorous master’s thesis.
This course expects responsible use of generative artificial intelligence.
The medical specialist in training:
- Synthesizes the current scientific knowledge on the master’s thesis topic based on relevant literature.
- Conducts clinical scientific research in accordance with internationally accepted scientific standards.
- Reports on the research and findings, complemented by a critical and scientifically substantiated reflection
The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
