Students enrolled at Universiteit Gent for the Master of Science in Photonics Science and Engineering must simultaneously enroll as 'guest' student at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), if they have registered for one or more of the compulsory and/or electives courses of the master program, that are taught at the VUB. The different modules with compulsory courses, masterspecific electives and option packages are listed hereunder.
This module includes the compulsory courses that belong to the 1st year of the full-time standard learning track of the MA in Photonics Science and Engineering, that are taught at the VUB.

This module includes the option packages that are taught at the VUB. Students can select one of these option packages. Within the option package, the student has to accumulate 18, 19 or 20 ECTS of courses, depending on the rules and requirements of the option that he/she has chosen. Some options only include compulsory courses, others only elective courses or compulsory and elective courses.
