Knowledge and Understanding
The Master of Computer Science has developed advanced knowledge of computer science fundamentals.
1A The Master is acquainted with a broad spectrum of languages, formalisms, meta-languages and meta-formalisms that are used in computer science to formulate and study data and computation.
1B The Master understands the theoretical properties of information and has advanced knowledge of techniques that are used to represent, store, query, exchange and process information.
1C The Master has advanced knowledge of different categories of computational processes and understands the scientific properties of these processes and their theoretical limits.

Application and Engineering
The Master of Computer Science has the necessary competences to contribute at international level in companies and organisations to the realisation of complex software-intensive systems and to develop into a leading role in this context.
2A The Master can formulate problem definitions and problem solutions with attention to innovation but also to scientific and technical conditions and constraints, in the context of complex software-intensive systems, both independently and in teams.
2B The Master can abstract from and reflect critically on the technological state of the art of contemporary computer science and can choose between the best solutions for the execution of a project provided by relevant subdomains and can motivate the choices made.
2C The Master can report and communicate efficiently and effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using modern mainstream tools.
