The internship aims at involving the student in the industrial and/or research engineering activities.

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
SELF Internship determines 100% of the final mark.
Within the SELF Internship category, the following assignments need to be completed:
- Report on the Internship
with a relative weight of 1
which comprises 100% of the final mark.
Note: Geen examen maar een stageverslag dient ingeleverd. Hierin beschrijft de student het bedrijf/onderzoekscentrum waar hij/zij zijn/haar stage heeft volbracht, omschrijft hij/zij zijn/haar specifieke taken , bekomen technische resulaten en opgedane ervaring.
De volgende punten komen hierbij zeker aan bod:
-situering en beschrijving van het bedrijf en departement (sectie, afdeling,...) waar men de stage volbracht heeft
-technische omschrijving van het uitgevoerde werk
-eventuele waarnemingen van sociale of persoonlijke aard
-conclusies met o.a. aandacht voor wat de stage heeft bijgebracht en mogelijke lacunes en/of pluspunten in de opleiding die aan het licht kwamen tijdens de stage.
Geen vast formaat. Grootte: 10tal blzn.; max. 20 blzn. Moet op tijd binnegeleverd worden! Zie stage overeenkomst in bijlage.
Dit stageverslag wordt geëvalueerd door de stagebegeleider, de stagemeester en de stage coordinator. Gestandardiseerde evaluatie formulieren zijn te vinden op het Fakulteitssecretariaat of bij de promotor. Deze schriftelijke presentatie kan mogelijk , op verzoek van de stagemeester, aangevuld worden met een mondelinge presentatie van het stageverslag.
