The Hospital Provision Act, which organises and funds the hospitals, is examined in detail. Other aspects studied include hospital management, the role of the medical board and the status of the hospital physician. Topics such as the accreditation of hospitals, cooperation and hospital services are covered as well.
During the open book exam, one can only make use of a PAPER version of handbook.
The purpose is to have students gain insight into the most important legal and administrative aspects of the organisation and the management of hospitals.
