At the end of this course, students should understand the role of pancreatic beta cells in diabetes, impact of diabetes in society, and strategies of beta cell therapy in diabetes....

Students select a paper from a list compiled by the coordinator. Evaluation is based on a critical discussion about the chosen study in an oral examination.
