Ethical and legal problems regarding the status of human body material, e.g. organs, cells, tissues and gametes (including the issue of the commercialisation of human body material, inter alia via patenting)

Research ethics (focus on conflicts of interest and their potential to bias research)

- In-depth application of methods of argumentation from normative ethics to bioethical problems which are relevant to the curriculum of biomedical sciences -- building on the knowledge acquired in the course Bioethics I
- Formulating critical comments using the abovementioned arguments and approaches
The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 60% of the final mark.
PRAC Teamwork determines 40% of the final mark.
