Offer 1 with catalog number 1016050ANR for all students in the 1st semester at a (A) Bachelor - preliminary level.
A CAD program is being taught which enables the student to draw plans, views, sections and details of buildings, as well as 'renders' and presentation drawings. The student also learns to build and structure three-dimensional computer models.
As a final assignment, one of the projects, designed for the course Ontwerpatelier: habitat en erfgoed, is drawn in the CAD programme and presentation drawings are made.
A small assignment is given on the exam, where mainly the digital modelling of a 3D object is being evaluated.
The manuals and assignments are made available on the Canvas communication platform.
Attendance at the exercise sessions is not compulsory, but the tasks must be issued through Canvas within the set time frame. The result, the working method and the progress of the student will be quoted.

The student can draw an architectural design in a computer program.
The student can turn this design into three-dimensional images (isometry, perspective, renders), as well as plans, sections and views according to conventions.
The student can structure a computer model by working with layers, blocks or external references.
The student can export the graphical representation of the architectural design to a digital image format, as well as printing to scale.
The student can make presentation drawings for the design of Ontwerpmethodiek 2.
The student can independently search in manuals.
The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 25% of the final mark.
PRAC Practical Assignment determines 35% of the final mark.
Other determines 40% of the final mark.

A project, designed for the course Ontwerpatelier: habitat en erfgoed, will be introduced into the drawing programme and the presentation drawings will be completed. Model and documents are presented in class. This assignment counts for 40%.
A small assignment is given on the written exam Computer-assisted Design. The relevant grading counts for 25%. It is mainly the digital modelling of a 3D object that is evaluated.
The results of the exercises during the year, in which basic skills are taught step by step, count for 35%.
Attendance at the exercise sessions is not compulsory, but the tasks must be handed in via Canvas within the set time frame. The result, the working method as well as and the progress of the student are evaluated.
