Course Content

The course will give an introduction to the meaning of a strategic policy through deepening topics from different related HRpractices; moreover, reporting competencies will be discussed and practiced.

  • Giving an insightful view on how to build an company strategy and how to translate this into an HRstrategy.
  • Discuss the components of an HRstrategy
  • Presenting practical applications (through cases) of the foregoing
  • Practice professional advisory skills

Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
PRAC Presentation determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the PRAC Presentation category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • presentatie + mondeling examen with a relative weight of 100 which comprises 100% of the final mark.

Additional info regarding evaluation
  • Presentation (small groups) using a limited number of slides of an analysis and an advice concerning an issue at the strategic HRlevel, as presented during the practical cases, with additional questions as a possibility. All members of a group need to present at the same time.
Allowed unsatisfactory mark
The supplementary Teaching and Examination Regulations of your faculty stipulate whether an allowed unsatisfactory mark for this programme unit is permitted.
