Four basic principles on professional ethics (respect, integrity, responsability and expertise), which constitute the basis of reflecting on ethics and of deontological codes are illustrated and discussed using cases. Each of these principles is considered as a principle, a value and basic stance. Following topics are discussed in depth:

To recognize ethical problems in a presented case in function of the psychologist's professional relationship with those involved
Identify relevant legislation on ethical issues in cases
Motivating the different action alternatives of a psychologist with regard to a case, taking into account those involved, themselves and society.
Indicate how a psychologist can prevent situations as suggested in the case through preventive action and / or ethical reflection.
