Course Content

This course guides the student in writing the bachelor paper. The course follows the different stages in the research process, and tracks the progress of the students in interactive lessons and through assignments.

-plan and realise independent historical research

-outline a research theme and select and analyse relevant secondary literature 

-construct research questions and formulate a state of the art

-select and describe primary sources

-select and describe a specific historical method

-present their research and research process in a clear and scientific way

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Other Exam determines 100% of the final mark.

Within the Other Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Assignments with a relative weight of 100 which comprises 100% of the final mark.

Additional info regarding evaluation

The student who obtains less than 10/20 after the first sitting has to submit a written assignment.
