In order to be able to offer optimal care tailored to the needs of patients and their peers, in a context a changing health care landscape, issues concerning integration of care and collaboration between professionals from different disciplines and organizations within and between different sectors become a key question. The way in which multidisciplinary and / or interdisciplinary collaboration can be shaped both clinically and organisationally is central to this course. This course OO studies the available "realist evidence" on barriers and facilitating factors for interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary collaboration, with particular emphasis on structural (financial, regulatory, cultural factors (language, habits, norms, values, preferences, ...) and communicative aspects that The course examines the question of how collaboration and the organization of cooperation is an essential part of the integration of healthcare. Practical hands-on training is offered to learn how to deal with barriers and facilitating factors in daily care practice, including the use of tools and support mechanisms for interdisciplinary and intersectoral cooperation.

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Oral Exam determines 50% of the final mark.
PRAC Practical Assignment determines 40% of the final mark.
SELF Paper determines 10% of the final mark.

50% theory: the theory is tested on the basis of an oral exam on aspects of cooperation in healthcare. The knowledge is acquired on the basis of the material offered in the theoretical course HOC, but the student is also expected to make a critical appraisal of a scientific article.
40% of the assessment is based on acquired practical skills and valued on the basis of an active contribution to skills training with regard to collaboration and communication.
