- Inhoud
In the beginning of the first semester the students will receive an overview of the possible traineeships (with the possibility of international traineeships as well – if possible in the framework of a LLP/Erasmus exchange). During the actual traineeship students will perform research work and the generated data will be written down as an English paper with abstract, introduction, material and methods, results and discussion, references. Obtained results will also be presented orally as a dataclub.
In order to give students Biomedical Sciences the opportunity to gain relevant international experience in their field, two mobility windows were created during the course. In the first master this window is 4 months (February-May). The students can take a research internship in an international lab of their choice
- Studiemateriaal
- Praktisch cursusmateriaal (Vereist) : International scientific literature in the field (both from the laboratory where the internship is carried out and externally), textbooks about relevant methodologies.
- Bijkomende info
Students who will come into contact with human material during the internship must submit a certificate proving that they are sufficiently protected against hepatitis A and B. In case of insufficient protection, vaccination at least 10 days before the start of the internship is required. Both for the blood collection and for the vaccination an appointment can be made with the occupational health service Attentia (annick.thomas@attentia.be).
