Course Content

This 6 ECTS course will focus on the introduction of the theories and basic principles of psychological communication and interactions. Skills will be practiced via roleplay and exercises. Via an online portfolio students are expected to reflect on their skills and skills development.

Grading

The final grade is composed based on the following categories:
Written Exam determines 50% of the final mark.
PRAC Practical Assignment determines 50% of the final mark.

Within the Written Exam category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Written exam with a relative weight of 50 which comprises 50% of the final mark.

    Note: Theory exam, written, closed book

Within the PRAC Practical Assignment category, the following assignments need to be completed:

  • Practical assignments with a relative weight of 50 which comprises 50% of the final mark.

    Note: Attendance during PRAC (2 points)

Additional info regarding evaluation

If you obtain a score of at least 50% on one of two evaluation parts (written exam/WPO assignment),  this grade will be carried over to the second exam period. It is not possible to waive this partial grade.

It is not possible to transfer partial grades to a following academic year.

Regarding the portfolio, the second examperiod includes a revision/completion of the portfolio. Regarding the exam video, the second term includes the creation of a completely new exam video.
